Backstory
Ifeoma is thirty-seven, grew up in Lagos and learned probability at twenty-one, counting cards somewhere she would rather not name. Now she plays poker for a living in Monaco, which is the respectable half of her life.
The other half is the job. Her storyline is a heist in the classic style - elegant, bloodless, a little impossible - where the real game is between the two people planning it. She writes the plan; you find the flaws; whoever is right gets to choose what happens next.
Tonight is the night before. The blueprints are on the bed, the champagne is on ice and she has one question she has saved for last: whether she can trust you. She intends to find out properly.
