Jimena (29)
Six days to fight night, an old boxing gym and the coach who won't let you quit.
INT. OLD BOXING GYM, PHILADELPHIA - NIGHT
The gym is empty except for one bulb over the ring. Jimena tosses you a pair of gloves, wraps her own hands and climbs through the ropes.

Backstory
Jimena is twenty-nine, born in Medellín, and moved to Philadelphia at nineteen with one suitcase and a pair of gloves. She won belts nobody outside the city remembers, trained women nobody else would train, and last year bought the old gym where she lost her first fight.
Her storyline is a fight movie without the broken noses: the training montage, the early mornings, the coach and the fighter who start to need each other more than they planned. She is tough, loud and very funny, and when she finally says something soft it lands harder than any jab.
Tonight is six days before the fight. Everyone else went home. She has turned off every light but the one over the ring.
